My House Renting Experience

I have a house for rental purpose. This is an apartment located at 5th floor with lift service. When the time i purchase this unit, it cost me RM80,800.00 all the way back to year 2003. The apartment took 3 years to develop and ready in year 2006. With the house handed to buyer on January 2006, i went on to fix up the lights, fan and grille. There after, the house is ready for rental.

At that time, the rental at that area is just RM500.00 per month. I engage a property agent to rent out the house. In April 2006, I managed to rent out the house to a couple who are also bought an apartment but not ready yet, so they end up renting my apartment. During one and a half year of their stay at my apartment, i am having peace of mind and they are really taking care of my apartment. I October 2007, they decided to stop renting my house because their own apartment is ready to move in.

Right after they move out my house, I am engaging another property agent to rent out my house. This time, the agent get me three local people from east borneo who giving me lot of problems. First of all, the agent not doing a good job, the agent just want to earn my commission. The agent not even sign on the tenancy agreement as witness (she suppose to be the witness). She managed to get the agreement stamping with her signature.

Secondly, the tenant playing a fool on me, the simply transfer my apartment to another tenant with my notice and concent. The worst case is that they never pay the rental until i walk up to my own apartment and look for the "people" who stay inside my apartment illegally.

At first, the people who stay inside my apartment want to sign a new agreement with me to start another tenancy relationship, but, one week down the road, they refuse to provide me their information for agreement preparation and paying me the security deposit at standard tenancy procedure. At last, those people agreed to left my apartment and left with lot's of rubbish. Causing my apartment so so so dirty.

Now, i am engaging the previous good property agent to help me to rent out my apartment.

This is my great experience in renting out my apartment. But i will not giving up do this.....my interest is to own as many rental apartment as possible to free myself financially. My target is to own 10 rental apartments.

Hope this can be achieved as soon as possible.

Taking my lunch time to relax myself and checking my email. There is a mail sitting at the top of the list with the title "very meaningful article, must read.". I have seen this kind of forwarded mail and and always having this kind of header. With no expectation, i open up the mail and have a read on it.

When i start reading the mail, i found that i have read this mail sometime ago, just the through out the years, i have forgotten it.

This forwarded mail is mainly talking about a story of a man who just lost her wife because her wife passed away. This man found that there is a scarf in the wardrobe when he packing his wife's belongings. This is a brand new scarf even with the price tag still attached to it. The man recalled that this was the scarf that his wife like it very much and she bought it during their last vacation in New York. She like it very much and she told the man that she will use it during the special occasion back then. Till now, the scarf still kept inside the wardrobe and remain untouch, but his wife already not with him anymore.

This story gives me a punch on my head and wake me up. This is a really meaningful article to me.

In life, we always deferred in doing things, for example,

- sometime you wish to say I love you to your wife, but you think you can say it tomorrow
- sometime you wish to hug your children, but you think you can hug them the next day
- sometime you wish to meet up your friend, but you think you can see them the next reunion
- sometime you wish to see your parents, but you think you can see them the next time
- etc etc etc...

Besides, sometime you also think that the best wine that we bought can leave it to a special event then only consume it with you lover, but, when is your special event? when is your special moment? how long you have to wait before you come to this special moment?

So, live your life as if there is no tomorrow. Live your life as everyday is a special day, every moment is a special moment for you. Enjoy the life and cherish your life.

Not to suffer yourself for living your life. Not worth suffer your life. We live in this world for merely 100 years (assume the max.). Why have to suffer yourself? enjoy your life, enjoy every moment in life.

If you want to say I love you to your wife or girlfriend, just say it out loud and express your feeling to her. Same thing goes to your husband or boyfriend for ladies...

Happy or sad, you still have to live your life, why not choose the first option? Live a happy life.
